The Renaissance 64 Gears are a replacement gear set for your Nintendo 64 controller. These gears are precision injection molded gears made from PEEK, a high-performance polymer chosen for its self-lubricating feel and superior creep and wear resistance in thin sections. Every set is manufactured to tight, controlled tolerances, with critical dimensions held to standard deviations of 0.015 mm or less.
Gold in color due to the PEEK material itself, these gears are designed to run smooth and tight from the start. As with any module, overall feel still depends on tuning and assembly, the gears won't do that work for you, but they give you a great starting point and far longer service life than the originals.

These are actually amazing. It doesn't get any better than that. I tried plenty different gears (metal, 3d print, other injection mold) and these are the only ones that feel really that much better. There's no bumps and it's super smooth all the way through. Really recommended for honestly anyone. My guess is they would work great with plastic sticks too.

Amazing job as always rockergaming. The gears feel great they have a nice slick feel to them and create really good values if you speedrun. Would recommend to anyone in need of good gears.

Gears Are Here!
I'm very happy with these gears. I tested them along side a very good set of OEM gears and I don't notice a difference. This is a good thing. The feel is great and they should last longer. They are leagues better than the alternatives and have tested almost all current replacements. If you already have a good set of OEMs and keep them lubed, you wont need these but if you have a floppy worn module you're rebuilding, these are the only replacements I would consider.

Incredible Tolerances!
When I first tried to put the new Renaissance 64 short gear over the tip of the Tao Stick V4 Pro, I thought it wouldn't fit. It definitely did fit! My stock short gear came off like throwing a hot dog down a hallway, but the new Renaissance 64 short gear went on like the tightest blanket on the coldest night of winter. Truly blown away after the module was together with these gears in them. The Z-axis slop/play has nearly vanished. The Renaissance kit is better than it ever has been, and it will only keep getting better. Hats off!

Smooth and wonderful gears that are worth a damn
These are smooth and wonderful. Hard to say if “better than OEM” from my perspective, but may as well be! You get what you pay for and what I will say for certain is these are the gold standard for replacement gears for anyone who respects the N64 controller. Cheap replacements may have gotten you by for controller ports 2-4 like the weirdo off-brand controller the neighbor kids or your younger brother had to use, but for #1 these are A MUST!!!
